The Cycle of Arawn is now on audiobook. By me, Edward W. Robertson. :)

And I don’t just mean The White Tree — I mean all three books: The White TreeThe Great Rift, and The Black Star. The complete epic fantasy trilogy in one collection.

In total, it’s 66 hours long. That’s nearly three days of listening. All narrated by Tim Gerard Reynolds — the voice of Red Rising, the sequels to Hugh Howey’s Wool, and Michael J. Sullivan’s Riyria series.

You can find it on Audible, Amazon, Audible UK, and Amazon UK.

The Cycle of Arawn: The Complete Trilogy

I’ve listened to several hours so far, and the work Tim did in bringing Dante, Blays, Cally, and everyone is to life is just incredible. When I write future books in this world, it’s going to be with his voice in my head.

I’m not the only one who’s gotten a kick out of it. From a couple weeks ago:

Now, I’m quite certain George R.R. Martin has far better things to do with his time than haunt the audiobook bestsellers lists to ensure his dominance goes on unabated. But I like to imagine that he woke up one morning, happened to see this interloper in the midst of all that Game of Thrones, and thought, “The Cycle of what?”

More good news: the crazy success of this trilogy (it’s been as high as #27 in all audiobooks in the US, and #12 in the UK!) guarantees that The Cycle of Galand, the next trilogy, will make it to audio, too. I don’t have a release date for The Red Sea yet, but as soon as I do, I’ll post it here.

In the meantime, hope you enjoy The Cycle of Arawn. Thanks, everyone.

I just picked this up a few weeks ago on audible. I am loving it. Thanks for a great book.

With only 5 hours left of the 66 hours, I am dreading the moment the final book comes to an end. It’s fantastic! I came to your site in search of more and am thrilled to see you’re working on a new trilogy with Dante and Blays. Keep up the amazing work, Ed! Can’t wait to read the Red Sea and beyond.

Oops, just saw this! Man, I’m so happy with how the audiobook turned out. Tim is just incredible. And good news–they’ve already got him working on The Red Sea. :)

Best news EVER! I’m absolutely loving this trilogy. I’m finishing The Dark Star and can’t wait for more…Honestly one of my most favorite stories. I also agree that Tim is one of the best story tellers. Thanks Edward for bringing Dante & Blays to the world!!

  • Awesome story, almost done with Black Star and looking forward to see what the future holds for Blays and Dante.

I just finished your trilogy and really enjoyed the dialogue between Dante and Blays- so I “googled” you to see if there was a next book in the series. I’m glad to see that there is and will look forward to ordering it on audible once it comes out. I’m not much into sci fi, but I may give your Breakers series a listen. You write the way I would like to write (if I ever quit my day job as a lawyer long enough to finish writing a book)- it’s wonderful to be able to laugh often while commuting from court to court. Thanks!

After finishing the trilogy on audiobook I came to this site looking to see if you were planning to write an more books in the same world. Really excited to find out you have another trilogy on the way.

Almost finished with the audiobook trilogy. I strongly believe that it could easily rival and likely surpass LoTR on the big screen. Fantastic characters, settings, and story.

  • Pete says:

I started this trilogy last Sunday. I am just now nearing completion of the series. I am absolutely loving it! I even have finals this week so its been stretch. But I have been spending many late nights listening to Dante and Blays adventures. I am surprised I have not heard more about this book, or the author. Ed’s writing style almost reminds me of Patrick Rothfuss or maybe its the plot… Either way its excellent!

I will put in an updated or mare accurate map would be really interesting to me.

Well good job Ed! Looking forward to reading (hearing) more of your books.
